My Story

Great North Run 2023

I'm running to support The Urology Foundation who do amazing work and research within the field. The charity also support trainees, researchers and patients with their efforts.

I'm a doctor that has trained in the surgical specialty of Urology and recently started work as a Locum Urology Consultant. I enjoy running as it gives me some time and headspace away from busy work schedule! Running for charity will make all the training worthwhile; plus stick to a training schedule!

I'm excited to run the Great North Run for the first time and to run with Ms Jo Cresswell; our first female President of the British Association of Urological Surgeons. and Sarika Nalagatna  @SarikaN05 the first female BSoT Chair! #inspired #challenge

*Update: despite a flare up of an old knee injury (patella/femoral dysfunction) I am making all efforts to train, do physiotherapy and prepare for the GNR! Raising money for TUF is my main motivator! Thanks for your support!
