My Story

In March 2022 my younger sister, Tilly, was involved in a Road Traffic Collision which ultimatley has left her with a brain injury.

Following the collision, she was in a coma for 8 days, followed by 3 months in hospital, and ongoing on the road to recovery today. Her progress has been amazing and her attitude and positivity throughout the whole process has been truly inspiring. She is our hero.

Myself and my older sister, Emily, want to show our support to Tilly and to help raise awareness for brain injuries. We aim to complete 8 half marathons over 8 consecutive days, finishing with the Great North Run 2023 on the 10th September 2023.

Any money donated will help make a difference to those that Headway supports and help raise awareness of what it is like to live with a brain injury. Thank you in advance for supporting our challenge, and more importantly showing support for this great charity and our hero, Tilly.
