My Story

I am running the Great North Run 2023 to raise funds for Rett UK, inspired by an old school friends Eva and Dan and their fundraising efforts for their daughter Lysbeth. 

Rett Syndrome is a rare non-hereditary disorder caused by a random genetic mutation. Rett syndrome is the second biggest cause of profound disability amongst females effecting 1 in 10,000 girls born each year https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/rett-syndrome/
