My Story

On 2nd December, Anthony Hall, Sarah's ex-husband and Toby and Ben's Dad, died suddenly.

The trauma has turned all our lives around, but any pain has been nothing compared to watching Toby and Ben try to make sense of their monumental loss. This is truly the hardest part of the journey we’re on. Nothing can replace what they have lost – it’s the problem there’s no solving. 

A great help has been Winston's Wish, which has been a valuable support in these early days, through resources, its helpline and so much more. 

This is why we've signed up to the Great North Run 2023 on its behalf and would be grateful for any donation you may be able to give. 

It's a family thing - Sarah, Stephen, Freya and Dan are all be putting their best foot forward on the day because it matters.
