My Story

Until January this year, I had never ran more than cross country at school or stamina training at dance, and I hated the idea of running long distances with a passion!! However, I wanted to set myself a challenge so decided to sign up for the GNR and (luckily or unluckily..) was successful in the ballot. Fast forward just 7 weeks to the end of February and I am already 20 runs in, already having completed 2 10ks... just have to keep going now!

The Bay Foodbank is a phenomenal local charity, providing a lifeline for individuals, couples and families struggling financially in North Tyneside. Unfortunately, they are serving more and more people each year, and in the middle of a cost of living crisis, their work is more important than ever. The organisation could not survive without donations from the local community and their amazing volunteers, so I hope that the money I raise can provide some aid to the integral work that they do in the local community.

I have connected my strava to my fundraising page so you can follow my training!! Any donations at all are hugely appreciated... now I just have to make it to the finish line!!
