My Story

Hi, thank you for stopping by my page!

This year I’m taking part in my first half marathon, and I’m running in support of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. This foundation is an integral part of the Newcastle Hospitals Charities Foundation, and aims to help discover the most effective methods of diagnosing and treating cancer. It supports both ongoing cancer research and new diagnostic and treatment methods; recent funding has contributed towards The Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre, the RVI’s teenage cancer unit, and Newcastle University’s ongoing research into the disease. This cause is particularly close to my heart, having seen the amazing work the Newcastle Cancer Services do, and knowing what a difference that makes in a difficult time.

Sir Bobby referred to the foundation – and all its supporters – as his ‘last and greatest team’, and I’m so excited to be doing my little bit for the charity. Thank you so much for stopping by my page: any and all support is greatly appreciated!
