My Story
The North East of England has the highest rates of epilepsy in England. Epilepsy is cruel, it interrupts days, it interrups lives. I am running the Great North Run 2023 for Epilepsy Research UK as only through research can we end epilepsy.
In 2022 I ran the Great North Run for the first time - and it is a pleasure to able to run for Epilepsy Research UK again.
Epilepsy Research UK supports Newcastle Universirty through many means but including two future epilepsy research leaders, and six PhD students.
