My Story

I had this bright idea.

"I work for a charity that believes in reducing health inequalities, and supporting people to lead healthier lives" I thought.

"What could be a better way to raise funds than entering a team into the Great North Run? An iconic local event, with colleagues running to improve their own health and to raise funds".

I put this idea to the team. They loved it. "And of course, Matt, you'll do it too" they said.

And do you know what? I said yes.

Please do make a donation. I've never even done a park run before. If I can make it to the end of a half marathon with the support of Healthworks, well, just think what your money could do to help them reduce health inequalities. 

They really are very good at what they do. And I've not even been paid to say that. I'm here because I believe in their work, and I'd be really grateful for your support.
