My Story

I am running the Great North Run 2024 on 8th September to raise money for Cancer Research.

Recently more people I love and care about have been diagnosed with cancer and it's really brought home to me how important the work of this charity is.

Many years ago my grandad did not survive cancer. Two years ago my Dad beat cancer thanks to advances made in treatment and his fantastic attitude. I will always be grateful for these advances, the precious time we have together and work done in this area.

I cannot imagine a better charity to support. All donations are more than welcome!

This page was created for the GNR 2023 which I unfortunately had to defer due to injury. Many thanks to all who donated last year - the money you gifted was frozen to be carried over to this year.
