My Story

Great North Run 2023

1 in 2 people born after 1960 will get cancer in their lifetime and scientific research is the key to helping as many people as possible survive such a scary diagnosis. 

The goal of cancer research UK is to see 3 out of 4 patients survive cancer by 2034 and this number is currently at 2 in 4. 

This is a charity that is fundamental in improving the treatment of cancer patients, developing our understanding of the disease and providing science backed evidence to the public for reducing the risk of cancer.
