In Memory of Lee Spensley

My Story

On 10th September 2023 I am running in the Great North Run in memory of my uncle Lee Spensley who sadly lost his hard battle to Melanoma Brain Metastasis (cancer) on 22nd May 2023. I will be taking part to raise funds for Teesside Hospice. At the later stages of Lee’s life the staff at the hospice were incredible, not only to Lee but to all of our family.

Each year it costs £3.2 million to support over 3000 people across Teesside. With NHS funding coving around a third of this, the rest of their work is funded by individuals, organisation, businesses and every day to keep their services running.

My family will be forever grateful to Teesside Hospice for the amazing work they do. We all know families who have been helped by Teesside Hospice and appreciate any support.

Thank you.
