My Story

My dad sadly passed away from Prostate cancer in February this year.

He received amazing care at Alice House Hospice for the last 5 weeks of his life and our family will be forever grateful. That awful time would have been a million times more traumatic if it wasn't for all their help and support.

During my time in the hospice with my dad I looked how I could support this amazing charity and made the decision then to take on the Great North Run.

Every time I run I always think about the suffering my dad went through. He suffered in his body for so long, pushing himself to survive day after day. Im determined to push myself through a half marathon to be able to help support Alice House to continue to provide the best care for people as they approach the end of their lives. Any sponsorship donations are so appreciated.

Thank you and hug your loved ones tight xxx
