My Story

In March 2022 my little sister, Tilly, was involved in a Road Traffic Collision which has left her with a brain injury.

Following the collision, she was in a coma for 8 days, followed by 3 months in hospital, and an ongoing road to recovery today. Her progress has been amazing and her attitude and positivity throughout the whole process has been truly inspiring. She is our hero.

Lottie and I want to show our support to Tilly, help raise awareness for brain injuries and give something back to the amazing Great North Air Ambulance who gave Tilly life saving care, including a blood transfusion at the scene of the accident. We aim to complete 8 half marathons over 8 consecutive days (help!), finishing with the Great North Run 2023 on the 10th September 2023.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service is fully charity funded and so any money donated will enable the GNAAS continue to provide life saving care to other people like Tilly. Thank you in advance for supporting our challenge, and more importantly showing support for this great charity and our hero, Tilly.
