I have decided to do the Great North Run 2023 to raise money for a very deserving charity. I've been looking for an appropriate way to 'give back' now for some time and providing a degree of support for family's with children whose lives are limited by challenging health conditions resonates with me. This stems from a chance encounter with a volunteer in a local supermarket and I believe that oportunities need to be embraced for the benefit of individuals and communities.
