Dale's Running the Great North Run 23
Dale Huntley
My Story
In December 2022 my mam was sadly diagnosed with Stage2/3 Ovarian cancer. In July 2023, after a solid stretch of chemo over seven months, my mam was given the best news ever, clear!
When this all began last year, I had already signed up for the Hackney Half Marathon as a personal goal. When I saw that Target Ovarian were on the hunt for charity runners for the GNR, I thought it was fate! So I signed up and here I am now.
Target Ovarian Cancer do some incredible work for those directly, and subsequently, affected by ovarian cancer. Through research and support, they're making a huge difference for those diagnosed. If you want to find out more, please head to the link below:

So… if you could not only support me but also team Target and those people out there fighting ovarian cancer right now, then it would be hugely appreciated!
To all those who've supported me so far, thank you so much! I feel incredibly lucky and thankful for all the support.
Much love, Dale
