My Story

I have never been a runner 🏃‍♀️ but doing a half marathon is on my 40 before 40 list so here we go.  

I started running to kill two birds with one stone earlier this year, getting our 🐕dog Dexter out and fitness.  Safe to say in the beginning I hated it but stuck at it.  Now months later I look forward to my runs, think it's the quiet time 🤣.  Me being me, had to have a goal to aim for and as I have family from and love the North East the Great North Run seemed a good place to start.  So here we are!

So who am I running to raise money for ???Having had two premie babies 👶🏽👶🏽, Dylan especially needed extra medical attention when he was younger. The work of hospitals such as Sheffield Children's Hospital is vitally important providing life saving treatment in a fun friendly environment.

My brilliant husband is now part of the surgical team working at the hospital so I thought it would be the perfect charity to run for.
