My Story

Great North Run 2023!!!

CRUK Is a charity close to Laura's and my heart, as sadly we both lost our Dads to cancer, before we'd even met each other.

Last year I ran the GNR, and it was probably the greatest experience of my life in terms of running - the atmosphere was insane. I told Laura how good it was, and got her to enter the ballot for 2023. 

Guess what...

Laura got in, and I didn't!

She was instantly terrified as she's never run further than a 10k. It was an easy decision for me to say that I'd join in with the fun and run the world's most famous half marathon with my wife. I can't wait to cross the finish line together :-)

So please donate whatever you can, it's a cause very close to our hearts - and Laura is going to be training her arse off to get ready for the big day! She's going to do amazing!
