My Story

Martin House Children's Hospice is a beacon of hope, a safe haven and a sanctuary for children facing life-limiting conditions. It provides vital support to their families during the most challenging times of their lives; facing battles that no one should ever have to endure.

I have decided to use the platform of the great north run as an opportunity to help raise funds for Martin House Children's hospice to repay the kindness they showed me and my family many years ago.  I have witnessed and experienced first-hand the miracles that happen within the walls of Martin House. The love and dedication poured into caring for these children and their families is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Every smile that lights up a child's face, every giggle that fills the walls, and every treasured moment is a testament to the magic they create.
