My Story
We are running the Great North Run to raise money for Action Foundation - a local charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers across Tyne and Wear.
Action Foundation provides supported housing, free language classes, casework and weekly drop-ins for vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in our area - supporting 2,000 migrants every single year!
From Abi:
I've been lucky enough to work for Action Foundation and see first-hand the amazing work of this organisation. I've also roped nearly all of our friends into the Great North Run at some point so it's about time I got my running shoes on!
It's Ross' 4th Great North Run but he's sacrificing all hopes of a PB by running with me the whole way (thank you!!)
