Northumbria Blood Bikes is a registered charity (number 1166689) established in 2012, in the North East of England. Run solely by unpaid volunteers, our mission is to provide a FREE out of hours medical transportation service to the National Health Service. We provide our service so the NHS can invest the savings back into front line patient care.

In 2017 we were honoured to receive the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.
